Death in The wood by Sherwood Anderson (1879-1941)

1. The main character is Mrs. Grimes. She is a good woman. I like her, because she is a common and simple woman who lives on the outskirts of town. the narrator describes her characterizes, Mrs. Grimes as "nothing special". she is not known personally to anyone in the community, and being such a familiar figure, she is easy to ignore. " People drive right down a raod and never notice a woman like that". Then, another characters in the story are Mrs. Grimes's huband, Mr. Jake Grimes and her son.
2. The story happened on a farm near the German town. I like the setting, because it matches with the story.
3. The story tells about a good things. In the story, there is a woman who againsts for her family, although her family ignore her.
4. The story is reasonable, because nothing impossible happen in the world. The Style; Allegory, the swimmer is often considered an allegory about decline, the aging process, and the life cycle.
5. The important event in the story; when the woman died, her face burried by the sow but she looked like a beutiful young girl. I like it, because her death gives a deep impreession to the narrator about her sicerity
